Psychiatric Care Where You Are

Telepsychiatry lets you meet with your provider by secure video from home, work, or any private space. It offers the same quality of care as an in-person visit, without the commute, waiting room, or time off work.

Benefits of Telepsychiatry

  • Convenience. No travel, parking, or traffic.
  • Comfort. Speak with your provider from a familiar space.
  • Access. Ideal if you live far away, have limited mobility, or have a demanding schedule.
  • Continuity. Keep your care consistent through travel, illness, or life changes.

Is Telepsychiatry Right for You?

Many people do very well with virtual care, including for evaluations and follow-ups. In some situations, your provider may recommend an in-person visit, for example when a physical exam or testing is needed or when a telehealth visit cannot safely meet your needs. We will always talk with you about the best option.

What You Need

  • A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking
  • Your photo ID and a list of your current medications

How It Works

  1. Book your appointment online or by phone.
  2. Complete your paperwork in our secure client portal.
  3. Receive your video link by email or text before your visit.
  4. Join your visit a few minutes early to test your audio and video.
  5. Meet with your provider just as you would in the office.

Where We Can See You

By law, your provider must be licensed in the state where you are physically located at the time of your visit. ThryveBright currently serves clients located in: [LIST STATES].

If you travel, please let us know before your appointment so we can confirm we are able to see you.

Privacy and Security

Our video visits are conducted using a HIPAA-compliant platform. To protect your privacy:

  • Choose a private space and use headphones if possible.
  • Do not record the session. We do not record sessions unless you and your provider agree in writing.
  • Avoid public Wi-Fi when you can.
  • Let us know if anyone else will be in the room.

Prescriptions and Telehealth

Your provider can prescribe medication after a telehealth visit when it is clinically appropriate and permitted by law. Rules for certain controlled substances differ from other medications and may require an in-person evaluation. See our [Medication Refill and Controlled-Substance Policy].

If Your Connection Fails

If your video drops, we will try to reconnect. If that does not work, we will call you at the number on file. Please keep your phone nearby and make sure we have your current number and your location.
