Insurance and Self-Pay

Clear, Honest Pricing

At ThryveBright, we believe you should know what care costs before you commit to it. Whether you do not have insurance, prefer to keep your care private, or want more flexibility than an insurance plan allows, our self-pay option gives you straightforward pricing and direct access to your provider.

Why Some Clients Choose Self-Pay

  • Privacy. Your visits do not create a claim history with an insurance company.
  • Flexibility. Care decisions are made between you and your provider, not driven by insurance requirements.
  • Speed. Skip prior authorizations and waiting for network approvals.
  • Simplicity. One clear fee for each visit.

Good Faith Estimate

If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your first visit. Ask us at any time and we will provide one in writing.

Payment Options

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Major credit and debit cards
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Your card on file is securely stored through our payment processor.

Many HSA and FSA plans cover mental health care. Please check with your plan administrator about eligibility.

Superbills for Out-of-Network Reimbursement

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to receive partial reimbursement for your visits. After each paid visit, we can provide a superbill, which is an itemized receipt containing the diagnosis code, service code, date of service, and provider details that insurers typically require.

To use a superbill:

  1. Call your insurance company and ask about out-of-network mental health benefits, your deductible, and your reimbursement rate.
  2. Request a superbill from us after your visit.
  3. Submit it to your insurer using their claim process.

Please note:
We cannot guarantee reimbursement. Coverage is determined by your plan, and you are responsible for the full fee at the time of service.

Verify Your Insurance Benefits Before Booking

Not sure whether your plan covers our services? We can help you find out before you schedule.

You will be asked for your insurance company name, member ID, and date of birth. We will review your coverage and contact you. There is no obligation to book after you verify.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so that we can offer the time to another client.

  • Cancellations with 24 hours notice or more: No charge.
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours): Fee may apply.
  • No-shows: A fee may apply. Repeated missed appointments may affect your ability to schedule future visits.

Insurance plans do not reimburse late cancellation or no-show fees. We understand that emergencies happen, and we review each situation with care. If you experienced a genuine emergency, please contact us.
