Rupert is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Shaped by his New York roots and Jamaican heritage, he started ThyrveBright to make psychiatric care easier to access and easier to understand.
His clinical background spans neurological intensive care, inpatient psychiatry, oncology, and bone marrow transplantation. It shaped how he sees the connection between physical health, brain function, emotional well-being, and the circumstances of a person’s life.
His approach is built on evidence-based practice, thoughtful medication management, and shared decision-making. As a Black male provider, he is committed to representation and psychological safety, especially for men, families, and communities that have faced barriers to care.
Make thoughtful psychiatric care easier to access and understand, one person, one family, and one community at a time.
